Deputies: Woman agreed to deliver drugs to correctional facility

A Homestead woman is accused of making a deal with undercover deputies to deliver hundreds of prescription drugs to a correctional facility.

Anna Mancias, 29, was arrested Wednesday by Collier deputies at the 1600 block of Lake Trafford Road.

According to an arrest report, an undercover deputy negotiated with Mancias to deliver 600 oxycodone and 200 roxycodone tablets into a Florida correctional facility. Mancias told undercover deputies she also wanted $850 for assisting them in introducing the drugs to the facility.

Later that day, undercover deputies met with Mancias and provided her with the drugs, which she placed in her front pants area and also gave her $880, according to reports.

Mancias was arrested on a felony charge of trafficking a controlled substance.
