Leadership Marco 2012: Kickoff party ushers in new class

Following their first day of class, Leadership Marco 2012 gathered at the Stillwater Court home of Ted and Jennifer Forcht, with members of the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce and the 2011 alumni.

From now through December, Leadership attendees will be learning about different aspects of the island through special daylong classes like History and Media Day. They will meet and work alongside the city's fire, police, government and healthcare personnel. They will tour historic sites and posh island homes.

Members of the 2012 class include Maggie Campo of Marco Faux Finishing, Erik Condee of Condee Cooling and Electric, Debi DeBenedetto of the Naples Marco Island Everglades CVB, Collier County Commissioner Donna Fiala, Linda Flores with the Marco Eagle, Bruce Gear of Gear Promotions, Darcie Guerin of Raymond James & Associates, Angelia Harris from Physicians Regional Medical Center, Joseph Irvin from the City of Marco Island, Curt Koon from C.J.'s on the Bay, Marcia Mandel of Marco Island Lakeside Inn, Carole Roberts, Bruce Robertson from Friends of Rookery Bay, Paige Rhodes of Prudential Florida Real Estate, Sandi Sims of Keller Williams Realty and Ken Warriner of Physician's Regional Medical Center.
