He was transferred from Physicians Regional Medical Center - Collier Boulevard on Tuesday to Moorings Park.
Waldeck said he has therapy twice a day and expects to be there for six weeks.
By conference phone he was at the city council meeting on Monday and is viewing budget discussions on the city's online website.
Waldack has not missed a meeting in his four years on the council.
A Marco Island man was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way when his vehicle hit a bicycle ridden by Waldack on June 15.. Waldack was attempting to cross Yellowbird Street at Collier Boulevard when his bicycle was struck by a car, driven by John M. Cunningham, 76, of 1204 Shenandoah Court, Marco Island. Waldack was taken to Physicians Regional Medical Center — Collier Boulevard where he underwent surgery to have a titanium plate put in under his left knee.

Waldi recover well. You see, Marco Island needs safer bike ways. Or was the driver of the car under influence? I hope you come back and vote for better and securer bike paths.

Now add Horse drawn carriages......to this dangerous mix on Marco...by the way, I own a bike and used to ride around Collier and Bald Eagle. No more. Its a death trap...very dangerous. Marco Council has some ideal vision for Marco that simply is not sustainable. Get well Mr. Waldack

Wishing you a speedy recovery.
And, as an aside, now they want to add horse drawn carriages to Marco streets? Who is the ringleader of this circus?

I hope they took Waldo's blood alcohol level.

That is very popular and very common on Marco Island. The list of people have this disease is endless.

There is no east or west on Collier. Just north and south.

Look at a map dc. Collier is heading east west at Yellowbird. You must have never driven onto the Island an hour before sundown. Sun is directly in your eyes from Barfield to Esplanade.

WOWWWWWWW Waldi, if Eddi is your friend you need no enemies anymore. With him as your campaign manager your re-election will never work. Remember this post in November.

It shows once again...do not ride your bike in front of even a stopped car. People are looking for motor vehicles and there are natural blind spots. You might have the right of way but you can't win in a collision.

When your stopped at yellowbird waiting to turn onto Collier behind the white line for the cross walk you are not able to see traffic. If you pull up after stopping to see the traffic your blocking the crosswalk. The fire on the vacant lot has helped the visibility but not corrected the problem.

You see. It hit the right guy to solve the problems!
