Woman, 27, dies after being ejected from golf cart in Florida

LAND O' LAKES — Authorities say a 27-year-old woman has died after being ejected from a golf cart.

The Florida Highway Patrol reports Erika Susan Robinson died Saturday evening.

Investigators say Robinson was riding in a golf car with 28-year-old Nathaniel Williams in Land O' Lakes. As Williams made a left turn into the Lake Padgett Estates East Bath and Racquet Club, Robinson was ejected from the cart onto the roadway.

Robinson was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital where she died.

The crash remains under investigation.
