An Immokalee man is accused of ringing a man's doorbell, then punching him in the face and threatening him with pepper spray.
Elissier Joseph, 28, of the 600 block of West Delaware, was arrested Tuesday at home.
According to an arrest report, the victim returned home from school around 7:30 p.m. and shortly after he heard a knock on his front door.
The victim said when he opened the door, Joseph immediately struck him in the face with a closed fist. He then retreated into his home and stated he was going to call the police, reports stated.
Joseph then followed the victim inside and told him if he called the police he would pepper spray him and then fled the scene, the victim said.
Deputies said Joseph told the victim that every time he sees him, he was going to beat him and damage his car. The victim was able to point out Joseph as the one who struck him in the face and threatened him with future harm, according to reports.
