FORT MYERS — There were 632 new foreclosure filings in Lee County in February.
That was down from 653 in January, according to a report by the Lee County Clerk’s Office.
Of the total filings last month, 24 were for commercial properties.
There were 365 filings on homes with a homestead exemption in February, indicating a primary residence. Another 243 were filed on homes without the exemption.
In February of last year, there were 314 foreclosure filings in total.
