Body found near Naples Pier identified as 63-year-old woman

A citizen called in the discovery of a body floating just off shore in the Gulf of Mexico around 9 a.m.  The body is of a woman believed to be in her 60s. No foul play was immediately suspected.

Naples police have identified the body found Tuesday near the Naples Pier as 63-year-old Jaye P. Larson, of an unlisted address.

Larson's clothed body washed ashore and was discovered by a citizen at about 9 a.m. Police have said there don't appear to be any signs of foul play.
