Lee County sheriff's investigators have been unable to identify the body found in woods Wednesday afternoon along the Lee-Collier county border, according to an incident report.
Skeletal remains of an unknown person were discovered at about 4:35 p.m. by a Bonita Springs man walking his dog near Channel 30 Drive and Old U.S. 41, the report said.
No information is provided about the sex or age of the person found. Foul play is not suspected.
