A 40-year-old Golden Gate man was accused Sunday of pointing a gun at a neighbor over a dispute about parking.
Jose Miguel Figueroa-Galvan, of the 1700 block of 41st Street Southwest, faces two felony counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
According to an arrest report, Figueroa-Galvan asked his neighbor, Nicolas Pierre, 52, to move his taxi cab, which was parked in front of Figueroa-Galvan's house. After Pierre moved the taxi, the two men continued to argue, at which point Figueroa-Galvan pointed a gun at Pierre and said, "I was going to shoot you!" the report said.
Figueroa-Galvan at first denied that there was a conversation after the taxi was moved, but later told detectives he heard Pierre tell him "I will park there anytime I want."
Figueroa-Galvan was released from the Naples Jail Center on Sunday after posting bonds totaling $5,000, according to jail records.
