The Immokalee Seminole Indian Casino features many exciting shows, events, and entertainers for those who visit. Yet one of its most popular and enjoyed activities is The Paradise Food Truck Rally. The event is held on the third Sunday of each month in the parking area adjacent to the Casino. As visitors come in and go out, they get the opportunity to enjoy some of the most tasteful culinary and delightful deserts to be found in the area.

On May 20 the event featured music and menus which included, Brazilian, Cuban, Italian, Latin twist, gourmet desert and others. The trucks on hand for the day included Rio Latin Flavor, The Nosh Truck, Cusina Al Mare, Mobile Culinary Kitchen, Miami Spice, Nana Nina’s, and Dolce Gourmet Cupcakes. Except for The Nosh truck, which is from Fort Myers, all vehicles were from the Florida East Coast Miami Food Trucks ensemble.

The event in the 2012 season has moved from Fridays to Sundays, it has also become a favorite of the visiting vendors and patrons of the Casino. The colorful collection of trucks present a diverse cultural, and taste experience for visitors.

The menus include sweets of gourmet cupcakes, and ice cream including a delightful Maple Walnut served with whipped cream, nuts, and chocolate in a waffle cone basket. Another crowd favorite is the Columbian Hot Dog of Mobile Culinary Kitchen, which has egg, cheese, onions, tasty sauce, fried potatoes and bacon bits.

The food is prepared by a variety of quality and seasoned cooks and chefs, many with years of formal training and experience. Events such as the Paradise Rally are like having a quality restaurant at curb side for more than a quick meal but a quality one. The cooks love what they do and the opportunity to bring what they do best to the public at large; who can’t all make it out to the finer establishments many of the vendors have worked. It is fine cuisine, at a reasonable price and brought to you at this and many other area sites.
