Letter: Lights, camera ... ?

Lights, camera ... ?

Saturday, according to the Daily News' Neapolitan section, was when "Puss in Boots" would be shown in Cambier Park at 7 p.m.

So my "adopted mom," 80-plus Pat Dugan, and I hurried through a great dinner at Cafe Normandie so we could trudge across the grass and sit with all the families/children to see the film.

But on arrival we found a sign saying it began at 8.

And lots of other people had seen the 7 p.m. time printed and arrived then too.

We enjoyed watching the children, dogs, families and clouds/sun dancing everywhere until the "right" time arrived.

But at 8 the movie didn't begin.

By 8:15 it was clear the sound system was in trouble, and when we packed our chairs at 8:30 it still hadn't started.

What happened?

I wonder.
