NAPLES — For the eighth consecutive year, Fiddler's Creek's Creek Course has been ranked by Golfweek Magazine as one of the Top 100 Residential Golf Courses in the United States.
Fiddler's Creek was No. 98 in the rankings released last week, and the only course in Southwest Florida on the list.
Arthur Hills designed the layout. It was reviewed along with more than 3,000 other courses throughout the country.

PGA Assistants' Championship: Cypress Lake Country Club assistant Chris Trout finished ninth on Sunday at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie. Trout shot 72-70-71-70/283 in the national championship. Naples National's Drew Pierson shot 77-72-78-70/297.
First Tee of Naples/Collier: The chapter held its Live Green environmental project at The Quality Inn & Suites Golf Resort on Saturday. A total of 92 attended, along with parents, volunteers, golf course superintendents and First Tee staff.
Live Green is a component of The First Tee 9 Healthy Habits, teaching kids the importance of taking care of their community and surroundings.
Wilderness/ FGCU Invitational: The Wilderness Country Club hosted the Florida Gulf Coast University men's and women's golf teams on Friady in separate competitions.
Edward Figueroa, a freshman from St. John Neumann, won the stroke-play men's event, and Megan Van Etten, a junior, won the women's match play after a playoff. This was the third year for the event.
Florida Junior Tour: Naples' Emma Bradley finished fifth in the girls 16-18 division at Juliette Falls on Sunday. Bradley shot 80-80/160.
SFPGA Junior Tour: Naples' Anastasia Talalenko was second in the Girls 16-18 division at Fountains Country Club on Sunday. Talalenko shot 73-80/153. Gregory Talalenko was 10th in the Boys 14-15 division, shooting 80-80/160.
