Courtney Strong was appointed corporate account sales and catering manager at the Hilton Naples.

Strong, who had been the hotel's catering and banquet coordinator, previously spent nine years in administrative roles supporting sales and catering efforts at Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa.

Naples firm hired to manage homeowners' association

Cambridge Property Management has been chosen as managing agents for Spring Creek Village Association.

Spring Creek is a 306-unit waterfront homeowners' association in Bonita Springs. Cambridge also was awarded management contracts for Terrace I and Terrace VII Condominium Associations. The Terraces are both 60-unit associations in Heritage Bay, Naples.

Cambridge Management's main office is at 2335 U.S. 41, Naples. It also has offices in Punta Gorda, Wayne, N.J., and Howell, N.J.

Government accountants session is Wednesday

The Association of Government Accountants, Naples paradise chapter, will hold a professional development session from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in East Naples.

The seminar will be held at Zookies Too Sports Pub and Grill at 1258 Airport-Pulling Road N. The cost is $25 and includes dinner.

Hispanic achievement Hall of Fame awards is Monday

The 13th annual Hispanic Achievement Awards and Hall of Fame dinner is from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday in Fort Myers.

The awards recognize those who have made a significant contribution to improving life in Lee County and bridging the differences between cultures. Dr. Daniel E. Dosoretz, president and CEO of 21st Century Oncology, will be honored as the 2012 Hispanic Hall of Fame inductee.

The dinner will be at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, 1380 Colonial Blvd. Cost is $35 and includes a full buffet dinner.

Solomon to receive award Nov. 15

Gene Solomon, a certified public accountant, will receive the 2012 John W. Sheppard Award at the Southwest Florida Community Foundation's annual meeting and reception Thursday, Nov. 15, at Harborside Event Center in Fort Myers.

The award is given annually to an outstanding individual who has given selfless dedication to humanity and made significant contributions to the foundation. The event will begin with the annual meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception.
