It's Your Business: SCORE, IberiaBank partner for seminar

A seminar about money and small business is next week.

The program is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at IberiaBank, 2150 Goodlette-Frank Road. The bank and SCORE Naples are jointly presenting the seminar and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. and Small Business Administration developed the program.

The cost is $25 to register, payable to the nonprofit SCORE Naples. Veterans may register without charge. Sign up online at www.naples.score.org/localworkshops or call SCORE at 239-430-0081.

Hutchinson retires, Evans new president at Evans Holdings

Evans Holdings has announced the retirement of Craig Hutchinson as chief operating officer and president.

Hutchinson has been with Landscape Florida since 2001 and has served in his current capacity since 2006. His retirement takes effect Nov. 30.

Eric Evans, co-founder of the company in 1999, has been appointed to the position of chief operating officer and president effective Dec. 1. Since 1999, Evans has served in multiple capacities within the company.

Evans Holdings is the holding company that owns Landscape Florida, a landscape management company serving Collier and Lee counties.

Towers receives master intermediary credential

Ed Towers of Tiger Brokerage Group in Naples has been awarded the credential of Master Intermediary by M&A Source, an international association representing middle market business brokers.

Towers, now one of 80 Master Intermediaries in the world, has closed more than 300 transactions in his 28-year career in mergers and acquisitions.

Tiger Brokerage Group is a Naples-based mergers and acquisitions firm.

Two restaurants donate cans, dog food bags

Angelina's Ristorante and Agave Southwestern Grill donated dog food to the Lee County Domestic Animal Services' Community Pet Pantry and the Humane Society Naples.

Angelina's, along U.S. 41 just south of Coconut Point mall, supported Lee County Domestic Animal Services' Community Pet Pantry and donated 1,020 cans and 52 bags of dog food. Agave, along Vanderbilt Beach Road in North Naples, helped the Humane Society Naples with a donation of 3,432 cans of dog food.

Discount Pets & Supplies in Cape Coral matched the restaurants' donations pound for pound in dog food.
