Frontier Airlines has announced it will expand its low-fare service at Trenton-Mercer Airport, in Trenton, N.J., to Fort Myers' Southwest Florida International Airport and other cities.

The Denver-based airline will launch the Airbus A319 flights in late January and early February. Introductory fares of $79 each way for Fort Myers are available through Nov. 29.

The other cities served are Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and New Orleans. Information: www.FlyFrontier.com.

Dean retires from Southwest Florida bank

Bill Dean is retiring from Central Bank Southwest Florida, which has promoted Mike Durkin from his current position as Naples office president.

Dean, who has served as the Fort Myers president of the bank, has been in banking since 1964. He and his wife, Faye, moved to Cape Coral after Hurricane Andrew in 1992.

Durkin earned his Master in Business Administration from Florida State University and has worked in the banking industry in Southeast Florida from 1984 to 1990 and in Southwest Florida since 1991.

 Central Bank is based out of Stillwater, Minn., with 21 locations serving Southwest Florida, the Twin Cities and western Wisconsin. Florida branch offices are at 1520 Royal Palm Square Blvd., No. 100, Fort Myers, and 4099 U.S. 41 N., Suite 100, Naples.

Conservancy named Business of the Month

The Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and the Collier County Commission have selected the Conservancy of Southwest Florida as the Business of the Month for November.

Each month, the award is presented to an organization that has enhanced the community through financial, volunteer and active involvement in organizations and programs that assist in creating a better quality of life for all citizens in Collier County.

Naples design firm hired for Miromar Lakes model

Romanza Interior Design will help design the new Emilia model in Portofino, a neighborhood in Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club in Lee County.

The Naples design firm will enhance the Emilia's 3,380 square feet of living space with a transitional design featuring clean-lined upholstery, simplified traditional furniture shapes and a palette of clear neutrals with bright turquoise, orange and deep chocolate browns.

The Emilia is expected to be completed in January and is priced at $1.795 million fully furnished.
