It's Your Business: Bonita Springs Chamber needs volunteers

The Bonita Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking volunteers to staff its visitors center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Volunteers will be asked to answer telephones, assist walk-ins, help with office projects and have sufficient computer skills. Shifts are scheduled in four-hour sessions and schedules are flexible. Monday volunteers are needed immediately.

Krenzke new CFO at Florida Cancer Specialists

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute has announced that Kevin Krenzke has joined the group as chief financial officer.

A certified public accountant, Krenzke will oversee the daily financial operations and support the strategic initiatives of the institute.

Established in 1984, Florida Cancer Specialists serves patients from Tallahassee to Naples, and as far east as Orlando.

Davis presents at conference

Kelly L. Davis, a senior associate in the national law firm of Quarles & Brady's Naples office, has announced that she and Sarah L. Fowles, an associate in the firm's Milwaukee office, presented at the National Oil Recyclers Association Conference on Nov. 8-9 to about 75 people in Bonita Springs.

Davis' presentation, "Protecting Yourself from Disgruntled Employees," addressed the great potential damage that can be caused by a disgruntled employee and the policies and strategies to consider implementing to protect a business from the potential damage. Fowles, an associate in the firm's Employee Benefits Group, presented on "Preparing for ObamaCare: What Employers Need to Know Now."

Matthews joins Naples management firm

Tom Matthews has joined Third Eye Management as chief financial officer.

The Naples-based company offers hands-on assistance to small and medium-sized businesses. That includes those that don't have access to expertise available to large corporations, including business plans, and CEOs and financing and consultation.
