Body found outside sheriff's office near Tampa

TAMPA — Authorities say a man apparently committed suicide behind a district office of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's near Tampa.

A deputy on routine patrol Tuesday night found the body of a 56-year-old man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a side entrance to the sheriff's Citrus Park office. A gun was found nearby.

No further details were immediately available.
