Coach: Matt Brock (5th year)
Last year: 19-6
Key returners: Cody Harris, soph.; Trey Dawson, sr.; Riley McArdle, sr.; Joe Opalensky, sr.; Jake DeSalvo, sr.; Andrew Sheffield, sr.; Jake Heape, sr.
Coach's outlook: Estero has been a perpetually young team that is finally coming into its own. The Wildcats finished third at the Foxboro Duals last season and fifth at the Titan Duals with a roster comprised of mostly underclassmen. After the loss of standouts Jimmy Keegan and Sammy Garcia, Estero is poised for another strong season and can, for the first time in quite a while, boast a roster almost completely filled with experienced upperclassmen. Estero is a team to watch this season.

Coach: Ed Munn (9th year; 23rd overall)
Last year: District champions
Key returners: Tony Guarino, soph.; Alex Hernandez, soph.; Frankie Jaramillo, soph.; Kevin Colhoun, sr.; Jayln Gause, jr.; Lavanda Warren, soph.; Jefty Jerome, jr.; Bennett Akim, sr.
Coach's outlook: The Titans lost just two seniors from last years team. William Norelia, a two-time state placer will be hard to replace. We have three returning state qualifiers, and five returning district champs. We are hoping for a strong season from an experienced squad. This season we've added the Captain Archer, Buzz Hill Tournament, and the Gulf Duals (New Port Richey) to our schedule. We will be hosting three tournaments this season, the 16-team Golden Gate Invitational, the CCAC Varsity and JV tournaments, and the 28-team Titan Duals.

Coach: Mike Guitard (4th year)
Last year: 16th at state
Key returners: Cadin Hillis, Sami Rahman, Brennon Gaffney, Frankie Lagravinese, Connor Wiegold, Brandon Macon
Coach's outlook: The Sharks lost five key wrestlers from last year; Mitch Haan was a state champion and Vince Parker a state qualifier last season. Gulf Coast will travel throughout Collier County this year. The team has a positive outlook for this season. I'm optimistic about this year. We will be a young team with no seniors and we will have to fill some voids with new wrestlers.

Coach: Mark Modica (2nd year)
Last year: 11-11
Key returners: Michael Messina, Diego Cruz, Alfrande Pierre, Matt Martinez, Termaine McClendon, Tyler Esquivel, Claudel Alix
Coach's outlook: With three first-year wrestlers qualifying for regionals (Messina, McClendon, Alix) and one state qualifier (Alix), a third-place finish at CCAC, Lely looks to improve upon last season's accomplishments. The team is young, but are already learning that through hard work anything is possible.
