An Immokalee man is behind bars, accused of entering a woman's home and grabbing her breast as she napped.
Jose Trinidad Reyna, 46, of the 200 block of East Adams Avenue, is facing a charge of burglary with assault or battery and resisting an officer without violence.
The victim told Collier County sheriff's deputies that she was napping in the bedroom of her unlocked apartment around 5 p.m. Tuesday, when she awoke to find a man she did not know with his hand up her shirt squeezing her breast, according to an arrest report. With his other hand he was attempting to sexually assault her, reports said.
When the woman cried out the man, later identified as Reyna, ran behind the apartment building. A deputy went to the corner of the building where he reported seeing Reyna running away. When the deputy caught up with him and attempted to detain him, Reyna struggled, reports said.
The victim identified Reyna as the man who entered her apartment and assaulted her.
