An East Naples woman is accused of stealing $950 from a woman who gave her rides to school, according to an arrest report.

The victim said she returned to her car after class at Lorenzo Walker Technical School and noticed the money missing. School officials pulled surveillance video which showed Jennifer L. Johnson, 36, entering the car and taking the money, an arrest report said.

The victim told deputies she had been giving Johnson rides to school and said she knew where the money was hidden. Johnson denied taking the cash even after being shown the surveillance images, according to a deputy's report.

Johnson, of the 4800 block of Cortez Circle, faces charges of burglary and grand theft.
