EAST NAPLES — Two Naples men were seriously injured early Friday in a two-car crash in East Naples.
The crash occurred about 5:30 a.m. at the intersection of Davis and Santa Barbara boulevards, injuring Kevin Killilea and Lazaro Vidal, both of Naples, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.
Killilea was driving a 2011 Hyundai Sonata southbound on Santa Barbara and failed to maintain control nor stop at the red light at Davis Boulevard, striking the 1992 Buick Roadmaster driven by Vidal, who was westbound on Davis, the FHP reports.
Killilea, 37, was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital, and Vidal, 22, to NCH in downtown Naples. Both were wearing seat belts, FHP reports.
Charges are pending, according to FHP.
