Collier deputies are looking for a man who robbed a gas station in Golden Gate Estates on Sunday night.
Around 8:20 p.m., deputies were called to the BP Town Center Market at 7770 Preserve Lane, where the 19-year-old clerk said he had just been robbed, according to an incident report. The clerk said he was making a cash deposit when a man came up behind him and held a knife to his right ear.
"Don't look back," the robber said, according to the report. "Just give me the (expletive) money."
The clerk tried to de-escalate the situation. "Just chill. Just chill," he said.
But the man was insistent: "Shut the (expletive) up, and give me the money."
After the clerk gave him about $460, the robber ran from the store with another man waiting out front, the report said.
The suspect is described as a white man about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 140 pounds, with long, bushy blond hair, wearing a black hoodie, black gloves and a gray-and-white bandanna over his face. His friend was also a white man of about the same stature, also in a black hoodie, according to a deputy's report.
The clerk told deputies he believed the men came into the store about two hours earlier, once just walking around and another time to use the restroom. During their second trip, they left in a white four-door vehicle, he said.
