Letter to the Editor: Random thoughts

A couple of random thoughts as we near the most important election of our lifetime:

The NAACP is supporting the reinstatement of voting rights for felons after their release from prison. The NAACP has taken on this minor project rather than dealing with ... other things. I believe that this is a classic example of misplaced priorities.

If voters are familiar with current affairs, I must wonder how they could possibly support President Obama’s reelection? His job performance has been marked by inattention, gross incompetence, lack of experience/skill and major strategic blunders both in foreign and domestic affairs. With this devastatingly poor track record, I submit that the only reasonable and proper action is to humanely “end his tenure in November” as our Commander-in-Chief.

Finally, all prudent, patriotic Americans must clearly recognize that they are duty-bound to help save our precious country by selecting Mitt Romney as President of the United States of America.
