Deputies arrest 9 during prostitution operations

Lee County sheriff's detectives arrested nine people during undercover prostitution operations this week.

On Thursday, deputies targeted street-level prostitutes in Pine Manor and near U.S. 41 and Hanson Street in Fort Myers, according to a press release. After negotiating a dollar amount for sex acts, deputies arrested Charlie Lynn Dame, 32, and Chanel Renee Hall, 28, both of Fort Myers, on charges of solicitation of prostitution.

Later that evening, deputies targeted "johns" soliciting prostitutes in the Tice community. Four men who approached deputies posing as prostitutes and negotiated sex acts for money were arrested on charges of soliciting another for prostitution.

They were identified as Miguel A. Angel, 33, of Fort Myers, Jose Ramos Rodriguez, 50, of Hialeah, Baldomero Vazquez, 33, of Fort Myers, and Jose Ruiz, 41, of the 27000 block of Jarvis Road, Bonita Springs.

On Friday, deputies held an operation on Bunche Beach, where reports say they had been receiving complaints of men participating in lewd acts in public.

Undercover detectives made contact with three men at different times and engaged in conversation with them, reports said. All three men exposed their genitals to the detectives, who arrested them on charges of engaging in or committing lewd behavior.

The three men were identified as Charles McDonald, 74, of Pacific, Mo., Natale Pinnacoli, 42, of Cape Coral, and Dana Oxley, 60, of Fort Myers.
