Cheeseheads living in paradise can now fly to Wisconsin to see their team play.

Nonstop service between Southwest Florida International Airport and Green Bay's Austin Straubel International Airport begins today and runs through April, Fort Myers airport officials announced Tuesday.

MetJet will operate a weekly flight Wednesdays between Green Bay and Fort Myers as a public charter. This is the first time Southwest Florida International will have nonstop service to Green Bay, home to the Packers of the National Football League.

Women's Realtor council hosting charity auction

The Women's Council of Realtors, Naples-on-the-Gulf Chapter, will host its 22nd annual Dessert Auction, "Holidays in Paradise."

The event is Friday, Nov. 16, at Quail Creek Country Club, 13300 Valewood Drive, Naples. Cost is $29.50 per person and doors will open at 11 a.m. for registration, networking, auctions, "Ticket of Chance" raffle, and music. This event is open to the public and money raised supports the Chapter Education Fund.

Convention and visitors bureau honored

The Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau was recognized recently at Visit Florida's annual Flagler Awards competition in Orlando. The event honors top tourism marketing initiatives at the Florida Governor's Conference on Tourism.

The bureau won the top award in the Internet advertising category; a silver award in the resource promotional/trade category; and a bronze award in the mobile marketing category.
