EAST NAPLES — A driver was hospitalized Wednesday after losing control of a van and running into an East Naples Blockbuster store.
Just after noon, East Naples firefighters were called to 4001 Santa Barbara Blvd., where they found the white Dodge van crashed through the front window of the Blockbuster, according to a news release. The driver had lost control, struck another vehicle and drove into the store at Countryside Shoppes on the corner of Santa Barbara and Radio Road.
The driver was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. In addition to the Blockbuster, a neighboring pizzeria, Peruzzi Pizza & Pasta, was also damaged.
