Early morning shooting Friday under investigation in Fort Myers

FORT MYERS — Police are investigating an early morning shooting at the Sunrise Tower Apartments on Central Avenue in Fort Myers.

An adult male was shot about 2:30 a.m. while sitting in a vehicle. The victim was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police are looking for the shooter, NBC2 reports.
