Drug arrests

Charles Julio Jimenez, 20, of the 2300 block of Kean Court, Golden Gate Estates, and Edgardo Maldonado, 22, of the 100 block of Ospreys Landing, East Naples, were arrested Friday in a traffic stop by Collier County sheriff's deputies. They were charged with possessing not more than 20 grams of marijuana and possessing narcotics paraphernalia; Jimenez also was charged with driving with a suspended license.

Theft arrest

Taylor Ann Gilligan, 18, of the 2100 block of Scrub Oak Circle, East Naples, was arrested Friday morning by a Collier County sheriff's deputy after a store security officer said he saw her take money from the register in the layaway and jewelry department, where she worked. Gilligan admitted to stealing the $96.25 from her employer and was charged with retail theft under $100.

DUI arrests

Nicholas D. Clufetos, 23, of East Naples, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. Saturday after a Collier deputy said he turned right on red without stopping at U.S. 41 North and began speeding and spinning his tires. He also was charged with a red light violation and careless driving.

Robert Daniel Kuhlman, 72, of the 500 block of Veranda Way, Naples, was arrested Friday by a Collier sheriff's deputy at Radio and Livingston roads.

Beth Ann Manning, 48, of the 1000 block of Briarwood Boulevard, East Naples, was arrested Saturday by a Collier sheriff's deputy after a crash on Airport Road.

Jenni Williams Robinson, 32, of the 600 block of 102nd Avenue North, was arrested Saturday by a Florida Highway Patrol trooper on Pine Ridge Road.

José Daniel Mera Barros, 31, of the 3900 block of 14th Street North, Naples, was arrested Saturday by a Collier sheriff's deputy on Goodlette-Frank Road.

Fernando Fuentes, 40, of Largo, was arrested Saturday by a Collier sheriff's deputy on U.S. 41 East.

Domestic violence arrests

Fausto R. Rivera, 29, of the 1900 block of 19th Street Southwest, Golden Gate Estates, was arrested Saturday by a Collier sheriff's deputy after his estranged wife reported he smashed a window to get into the home she was living in, tried to force her to have sex, then smashed another window, causing glass shards to cut her child's leg. Rivera fled, but was arrested and charged with DUI, battery and child abuse.

Emma Dean Clark, 52, of the 500 block of Pan Am Avenue, Immokalee, was arrested Friday by a Collier sheriff's deputy after a bar brawl in Seminole Casino Immokalee that escalated from yelling and cursing to slapping a man's face.

Other arrest

Wilmer Perez Gonzalez, 22, of the 100 block of Marco Lake Drive, Marco Island, was arrested Saturday by Marco Island police after crashing into a car on Marco Lake Drive, hitting a parked car before losing control and ending up in a ditch. He was charged with driving without a license, leaving the scene of a crash with personal injuries, leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, driving on the wrong side of the road and careless driving. Deputies alerted immigration officials and were holding him on an immigration detainer.
