An East Naples man was arrested Tuesday after snatching $150 from a Collier detective during an undercover drug buy, according to an arrest report.

Around 4:30 p.m., the detective met with Donnell J. Wilson, 22, at a CVS on Golden Gate Parkway. Wilson had arranged to sell the detective $150 of Oxycodone pills, according to an arrest report.

When Wilson showed the detective one pill, she asked to see the remaining five, the report said. Instead, Wilson grabbed the $150 from her hand and got into a waiting car driven by Michael D. Turner, 21.

While driving away, Turner crashed into another vehicle in the parking lot but continued to flee, deputies said. Turner drove for a short distance before surrendering.

Wilson, whose exact address in East Naples was not released, faces charges of robbery by sudden snatching and selling an opium or derivative. Turner, whose East Naples address also was not released, faces charges of robbery by sudden snatching and leaving the scene of a crash with property damage.
