An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection to a Bonita Springs home invasion robbery.

Lee County Sheriff deputies arrested Armando Moya Jr., of 26632 London Lane, Bonita Springs and charged him with home invasion robbery and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

Around 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Lee County deputies went to a duplex on the 26000 block of London Lane, where several people said they were at home when the robbery happened.

One person was shot and another was hit in the head during the robbery.

Both of the injured people were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

During the initial investigation, the shooting victim told detectives he could identify one of the suspects as he had seen the man in the neighborhood. After developing additional leads, detectives returned to the hospital on Thursday with a photographic lineup and the shooting victim identified Moya as one of the robbers.
