JACKSONVILLE — Authorities in Duval County say they've confirmed another case of West Nile virus.

Health officials on Monday said the latest victim is a 39-year-old woman, bringing the total number of cases in the Jacksonville area this year to 26.

Symptoms include high fever, headache and muscle weakness. Authorities say symptoms could last several weeks and that neurological effects could be permanent.
