A Golden Gate Estates woman is accused of kicking a Collier deputy in the groin Tuesday as he tried to intervene in a family dispute.
Reports said deputies were sent to the 500 block of 29th Street Northwest around 8:45 p.m., where Lacey Ruth Flynn, 28, was intoxicated and causing a disruption. Flynn’s father was holding her down when deputies arrived.
As no one in the family was willing to care for Flynn, she was taken into protective custody and handcuffed. As a deputy tried to put her in the back of a patrol car, she kicked him in the genitals, causing him to fall backwards, an arrest report said.
Flynn faces charges of battery on a law enforcement officer and resisting an officer with violence.

Oh com’on Mr. Policeman . . . I’m sure it was just a little misunderstanding . . . did you consider that perhaps her foot just slipped?
