A Marco Island mother faces a DUI charge after hitting a parked car Thursday morning while dropping her kids off at school, according to an arrest report.
Marco police said Patricia Ann Libby, 38, hit a Smart car around 8:15 a.m. as she pulled into a parking space at Tommie Barfield Elementary School. Libby then reversed her Hyundai, struck the Smart car again, reversed again and hit the Smart car for the third time, according to an arrest report.
After speaking with officers and completing field sobriety exercises, Libby was arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center. Libby, of the 2000 block of San Marco Road, faces charges of DUI, DUI property damage, duty upon damaging an unattended vehicle and neglect of a child.
