An East Naples man is accused of stealing power tools from his former landlord and pawning them.
Benjamin Harden Brack, 28, of the 1000 block of Pine Isle Lane, is facing charges of grand theft and dealing in stolen property.
The victim told Naples police that he allowed Brack to live in his home temporarily to help him, according to an arrest report. When the arrangement didn't work out, he told Brack he had to leave.
When Brack left, the victim found several of his power tools missing and two tickets from a local pawn shop. The victim told police he confronted Brack, who acknowledged taking the tools and promised to make restitution, but never did, reports said.
Collier County sheriff's deputies arrested Brack on Monday on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a DUI charge.
