A 23-year-old Golden Gate man was arrested early Sunday after a neighbor said she found him inside her house.

A woman who lives at an apartment at 4463 Golden Gate Parkway called Collier deputies after she came home around 12:45 a.m. and saw her neighbor, Jorge Serrato-Soloria, inside her laundry room, according to an arrest report.

She told deputies she noticed $200 in cash was missing and her clothing and toiletries had been moved around.

Upon arriving, deputies went to Serrato-Soloria's apartment to question him. They found the 23-year-old with a bloody finger and discovered a new style $100 bill in his wallet that the woman said had been stolen, the report said.

Serrato-Soloria also pulled out a pair of women's underwear from his pocket that the woman later identified as the victim's, according to the report. Investigators later found pry marks on the woman's back door indicating someone had used tools to get inside.

Serrato-Soloria was taken to the Naples Jail Center, where he faces charges of burglary and grand theft. As of Monday, he remained in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $70,000.
