EBL Partners — a project, construction and development management firm based in Naples — was awarded the renovation contract for the community center of Stoneybrook in Estero.
EBL will redesign the building's interior and update its exterior. The project is scheduled for completion Nov. 1.

Former policeman now a financial rep
Adam Nelson has been appointed financial representative by Northwestern Mutual in Fort Myers.
He will be associated with Northwestern Mutual The Glenn Black Group of Fort Myers.
Before joining Northwestern Mutual, Nelson was a North Port police officer for four years.
An Englewood native, Nelson served in the Army for four years.
Funeral service is recertified
Robert D. Sheehan, director of community engagement for Hope HealthCare Services, has qualified for recertification as a funeral service practitioner.
The Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice awarded the recertification.
Sheehan participated in educational and service opportunities that surpass the Florida funeral service licensing board requirements. He is now one of 38 certified funeral service practitioners in Florida and one of four in Southwest Florida.

Care manager acknowledged
The National Academy of Certified Care Managers has acknowledged Rosi McArdle of Moorings Park Home Health Agency as a certified care manager.
McArdle joined the agency in 2010 and provides geriatric life care management to residents of Moorings Park, Collier and south Lee counties.
Clinic's new location in Bonita is larger
St. Paul's Holistic Institute has moved to 11100 Bonita Beach Road, Suite 102, Bonita Springs.
The institute now has a larger clinic with multiple exam rooms and a licensed registered nurse added to its team. A grand opening is planned for 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 5. There will be free consultations for new patients, glucose screenings, blood pressure assessments, ultrasounds, and cranial and sacral mini-massages.
