Police Beat: Sunday, Sept. 30

Assault

Vancliffe T. Hammond, 24, of the 2100 block of Malibu Lakes Circle, North Naples, was arrested Saturday by Collier County sheriff's deputies at his home. He's charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, without intent to kill, suspected of brandishing a single-barrel rifle.

DUI arrests

Jay M. Riddell, 42, of the 8600 block of Bay Colony Drive, North Naples, was arrested Friday by Florida Highway Patrol troopers U.S. 41.

Robert L. Ramos, 34, of Miami, was arrested Friday by Florida Highway Patrol troopers along southbound lanes of Interstate 75 near mile mark 109.

Jessie E. Brendle, 44, of the 2800 block of Becca Avenue, East Naples, was arrested by Naples police Saturday along Goodlette-Frank Road.
