Free legal clinic offered Saturday

Are you facing foreclosure or bankruptcy, or need help with a traffic ticket or criminal case?

If so, you can get advice Saturday, when the Collier County Bar Association, the Legal Aid Service of Collier County and Collier County Bar Foundation hold a pro bono legal clinic as part of Law Week, which is celebrated nationally.

The free clinic will be from 10 a.m. to noon at the Legal Aid offices, 4125 U.S. 41 E., East Naples.

Donating their time, attorneys will provide half-hour sessions and advice on a variety of matters, including traffic and minor criminal offenses, family law, immigration, consumer law, foreclosures and landlord tenant disputes, wills and estates.

The Harry Chapin Food Bank also will be there with its mobile pantry to offer food.

Appointments aren’t required, but everyone will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis, so come early and bring any relevant paperwork. For more information, contact Lisa Mead, the bar’s executive director, at 252-8711.
