And then there was one.

Following the recent closing of the last area Silver Spoon Cafe location in Naples’ Waterside Shops, the Silver Spoon Cafe closed in the Knoxville, Tenn., area, knoxnews.com reports.

The Silver Spoon Cafe in West Knoxville was closed and the property was seized for nonpayment of state taxes, according to the notice posted by the Tennessee Department of Revenue. A department spokesman declined to comment on the seizure Tuesday, citing privacy laws in the state tax code. It was not clear when the business was shut down.

A tax seizure notice greeted customers at the front door of the restaurant on Tuesday, marking the latest in a series of financial setbacks for its owner, based in Maryville, Tenn. Only the casual dining chain’s last remaining location, Silver Spoon Express, remains open on the campus of Maryville College in Maryville.
