Blades, Jackals each have 4 players fined

The wallets of four Florida Everblades players are a bit lighter following their actions before and during Game 2 of the ECHL opening-round playoff series on Saturday night.

Mike Ratchuk, Mathieu Roy and Leigh Salters were fined undisclosed amounts by the league for their involvement in an altercation with Elmira players during pregame warm-ups prior to Florida’s 8-2 loss at Germain Arena. Center David Rutherford was also fined for his actions during the third period.

Elmira’s Kevin Harvey, Chaz Johnson and Jordan Pietrus were also fined for the pregame incident.
