Letter to the Editor: Imagine this

Imagine a governor who will reduce the property tax on all Floridians.

Imagine a governor who will shrink government rather than one who just said he’d do it to get elected. Imagine a governor who will cut wasteful spending and who will prevent any infringement of the Second Amendment. Imagine a governor who won’t cave on Obamacare because political pressure became too intense.

Republicans, doesn’t that sound great?

Imagine a governor who hasn’t flip-flopped from Republican to Independent to Democrat. Imagine a governor you can trust to follow through on his promises. Imagine a governor, sympathetic to the suffering of many, who signs a bill legalizing medical marijuana in Florida. Imagine a governor who will veto any bill that infringes upon our civil liberties, a governor who says no! to drones, National Defense Authorization Act, Patriot Act, Real ID and other Fourth Amendment-shredding legislation. Democrats, doesn’t that sound great?

Imagine a governor who is a small-business owner, family man and veteran and not a career politician. Imagine a governor who will stand against the cronyism that has dominated the Legislature. Imagine a governor who will take common-sense approaches to issues, who will rely on fiscal conservatism, social freedoms and the free market to make Florida a better place.

Independents, doesn’t that sounds great?

We don’t need to imagine it. Adrian Wyllie is running for governor of Florida in 2014 as a man of the people, a defender of individual rights and an advocate for free markets.

Vote Libertarian. Vote Adrian Wyllie.
