Youth football: Free camp Saturday at Lely High School

Bayshore Education Center and the Gridiron Institute are presenting the inaugural Football Skills Camp on Saturday, April 20 at Lely High School. The camp has sessions from 8 to 11 a.m. for elementary and middle school students, and noon to 3 p.m. for high school students.

Instructors include former NFL defensive end Adewale Ogunleye, former Detroit Lions defensive tackle Damian Gregory, and Darian Barnes, a former NFL fullback, and former Indiana University coach BilL Mallory. Lely High School coach Stacey Stewart and Community School coach Damon Jones also are instructors.

The camp is open to the first 300 Collier County students on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 248-3884 or email to register.
