Even though the calendar says April, it sure feels like another mid-summer day across Southwest Florida. The heat and humidity will continue through the week with a better chance for shower activity by the weekend.
A few areas of patchy fog will be possible early Tuesday morning across our inland communities, while most of us will wake under a bright and sunny sky. Temperatures will be rather warm and muggy as they start in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
Temperatures today will soar into the upper 80s to lower 90s, with nothing more than an isolated shower or storm. High pressure will continue to build in across the area as we progress throughout the week. This will keep our shower and storm chance to a minimum, while afternoon temperatures climb back near 90 degrees under mostly to partly sunny skies.
