A Miami couple faces multiple drug charges after they were pulled over Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 75.

A Florida Highway Patrol trooper pulled over the couple’s car near mile marker 79 for a tinted window violation, according to an arrest report. An assisting K9 officer alerted on the car, and troopers found a bag of cocaine in the trunk underneath the carpet, reports stated.

Rhonda Falicia Williams, 42, and Willie Roy King, also 42, were arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center. Troopers said the pair left one small bag of cocaine and 12 small bags of marijuana in the back of the patrol car.

Williams and King each face charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to sell or distribute, and two counts of trafficking cocaine. King faces an additional misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession.
