Marco Presbyterian Church

“Between a Rock and a Grace Place,” a women’s six-week interactive Bible study for spring, continues every Friday at 9 a.m. Each session includes a short Carol Kent introductory video, followed by study and discussion to discover the divine surprises in the tight spots of life. Books are $10. Call the church office to reserve a book.

San Marco Catholic Church

The church’s 2013-2014 Council of Catholic Women executive board will be installed at today’s 10:30 a.m. Mass as follows: President Cindy Henning, 1st Vice President Joyce Imbrogno, Corresponding Secretary Mary Ross, Recording Secretary Sue Thomas, Treasurer Lynne Minozzi, Assistant Treasurer Ann Allard, Parliamentarian Lynne Minozzi and President Ex-Officio Louise Van Cleef. The Mass will include a ceremony of light. A luncheon follows at Hideaway Beach Club where scholarship recipients, seminarians and charities will receive donations from the Council.

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church

The church will host a Bluegrass Mass, 10:30 a.m., Sunday followed by a Y’all fest in the Parish Hall. Bring a southern-inspired dish to share and enjoy lively bluegrass music after the service.

GriefShare a weekly, Christian seminar/support group offers a combination of practical strategies and helpful Biblical insights for individuals grieving the death of a loved one; a safe place to find comfort, hope and healing. Information visit

n Wesley United Methodist Church 6 p.m., Tuesdays. Each session, which lasts approximately two hours, consists of a DVD lesson, workbook exercises and a group discussion. Light refreshments are served. The one-time registration fee of $20 to join includes a workbook and unlimited visits. Scholarships are available. The group meets year-round.
