■ The Taste of the Beach, sponsored by the Greater Fort Myers Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Old San Carlos Boulevard from Third to First streets, Fort Myers Beach. The event features food from 20 local restaurants and live concerts from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission: $5, adults and children older than 12; free, children younger than 12. The lemonade products will help raise awareness and funds for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and the fight against childhood cancer.
