First Baptist Academy sophomore Emily Lines has been selected to the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches all-state team.

The 6-foot-1 guard is one of 10 players to make the FABC’s Class 2A list, done in conjunction with SourceHoops.com. Lines averaged 17.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.9 steals a game.

Although she’s just a sophomore, Lines has collected numerous accolades the past two seasons. She won her second straight Daily News Girls Basketball Player of the Year award this season, and she made the Florida Athletic Coaches Association all-state team last season.

Lines led First Baptist to an 18-12 record, its third straight district championship and a second-straight trip to the regional finals.
