SW Florida weather: Mostly sunny skies through Saturday

We are off to a pleasant start across Southwest Florida this morning with temperatures in the mid and upper 60s in most spots under fair skies.

High pressure is still in control of our weather pattern and when high pressure is in control, you can expect fair weather. Humidity still won't be too bad today as dew points stay near 60 with high temperatures staying in the upper 80s.

There is a cold front pressing its way through the Southeast, but it will weaken and fall apart before getting to Southwest Florida. It now looks like we won't get a whole lot of moisture to come back into our local weather picture until the beginning of next week. So, the mostly sunny skies should continue through Saturday.
