SW Florida weather: Warm, dry weekend on tap

The forecast looks splendid for Southwest Florida to wrap up the week and kick off the weekend.

Our weekend weather will be a bit different than the previous two weekends. Temperatures will still be on the warm side, but rain probabilities will stay quite low. There's a chance we'll squeeze out a couple of spotty late-day showers Sunday, but the vast majority of us will stay dry.

Afternoon temperatures may hit 90 degrees in a few spots Saturday and Sunday, but coastal areas should only warm to the mid 80s thanks to the afternoon sea breeze.
