SW Florida weather: Rain chances increase this week

The last few days of April will be on the warm side, with an unsettled weather pattern shaping up for the middle part of the week.

Our work week will get off to a quiet and mostly sunny start with temperatures in the middle 60s. Through the afternoon, more clouds will mix in with our sunshine and daytime highs will be on track to climb into the upper 80s. Expect scattered showers and a few stronger storms developing through the early evening hours.

Once the showers and storms fade, skies will go partly cloudy and with a bit more humidity overnight lows will drop into the upper 60s by Tuesday morning.

Tuesday and beyond, we'll continue with an unsettled weather pattern and above average rain prospects. Moisture looks to linger across the area through Friday with a decrease in our rain chances by the weekend.
